Stop the sale of fireworks to the general public.

What the petition asks
Fireworks, which are basically handheld explosive devices, should not be sold to the general public and only made available for organised events and displays with a permit to use them.
This would prevent reckless and dangerous use of them, and perhaps save lives.
It would ease animals and small children who spend each autumn/winter night petrified as bang after bang erupts in the night sky.
