Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

People in hospitals who may not be end of life but in a critical condition are not allowed just one family member to visit, even if that one family member isolated and is tested everyday.
It is so important for people to spend precious time with family or friends that are in life threatening states
People in hospitals who may not be end of life but in a critical condition are not allowed just one family member to visit, even if that one family member isolated and is tested everyday.
It is so important for people to spend precious time with family or friends that are in life threatening states, there are so many other options rather than just to stop visiting, staggered visiting, testing, isolating! People would even pay for there own tests! Family is the most important thing ever

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Under the current national restrictions you are already allowed to leave your home to visit someone who is in a hospital: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-national-restrictions-from-5-november

Visitng policies for individual hospitals are a matter for NHS England and individual NHS trusts, not the Government or House of Commons. You should contact your local hospital to find out what their visiting policy is.
