Ban the sale of fireworks to general public.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Ban the sale of fireworks to the general public. Enforcing only organised displays by people with training, within only the relevant dates and taking security measures.
Fireworks are let off days in advance of celebrations such as bonfire night and new year and cost animals lives in abundance. Charities are working tirelessly to save lives of animals, wild and pets...whilst the fireworks are taking them. People get injured, putting the NHS under further strain and veterans face the terror of revisiting their experiences...all so some fireworks can be displayed. They are explosives, they are dangerous. We need to act on this and follow suit to Australia.
