Have one member per household, attend euthanization of an animal during Covid19.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

Allow one member of a household to attend the euthanization of an animal during their last moments of their life.
Like losing a family member, losing a family animal is devastating. Funerals during Covid19 are essential for the service lost loved ones, even as a limited number; the same rule should apply for animals, even if just one person.

Essential Supermarkets, now during the second Lockdown, Universities, and various shops are open with more then one household under the one roof. One member per household should spend last moments with their animal for closure, mental health and the animal's comfort.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a matter for individual veterinary practices.
