Bring back live music.

What the petition asks
Musicians, industry workers, music fans... they all need live music. It is so hard for these people to live without. It’s not just a hobby, not just a job... it’s a passion and a necessity. There are plenty ways socially distanced shows can happen in the UK and this needs to happen.
Live music is needed to keep the industry, to support people’s livelihood... not just musicians but audio engineers, road crew, stage crew, venue owners, venue staff, show security, the list goes on. Bands/artists make their money from live music, without this income it is so hard for them to continue.
Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
Since you started your petition the Government have confirmed that live music can take place following Covid guidance in Tiers 1 and 2. If you'd like something else to happen, you could start a new petition explaining what.
