What the petition asks
If they refuse to cancel next years examinations, the Government, more specifically the Department of Education, should instead work to reduce the course content of various GCE Advanced Level subjects, as they have done with GCSE subjects, for exams in 2021.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic this year, many students were not able to complete at much learning as they would have had the lockdown hot have happened. Because of this, students sitting A-Level examinations in 2021 are at a massive disadvantage as they have not had ample time to prepare themselves for the exams. Many students are still not attending their colleges and sixth forms as they are high risk individuals, and those students will suffer the most for no just reason.
