Limit firework use for the sake of animals and air pollution

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I think there should be a law whereby there is a day and time limit that private households can let off fireworks in urban areas for celebrations such as Bonfire night or New Year's Eve or even limit fireworks to public displays only.
Our pets and other animals go through extreme stress for days during these celebrations especially as they are unaware when they will happen and how many days for and we as owners do not know when to give them calming therapies. Also, fireworks have an impact on air pollution and so would help the environment for the future.
