What the petition asks

Ban the sale of fireworks by retailers to the general public who deliberately wish to harm people and animals. To alleviate the pressure on the NHS and emergency services who have to respond to increasing call outs. To allow only organised public displays, not residential backyard displays.
*Ban retailers for selling fireworks to the general public.
* to fine retailers for selling these items
* to pass a Bill that allows the police to arrest people on the spot for possession
* to issue jail terms for people who deliberately injure animals and people
