Turn the UK into a noiseless firework Country please.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Create a law that only noiseless fireworks are used in the UK
These loud banger type fireworks affect ASD children, who have very sensitive hearing that actually hurt their ears when they go off unexpectedly,
terrifying them causing them great anxiety and also small children too.
It also affects animals badly where they either run off or turn into a dribbling mess.
People really are fed up of these loud bangers and the government really need to change the law to noiseless firework or banning them completely.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Review and reduce the decibel limit on fireworks sold to the public: Review and reduce the decibel limit on fireworks sold to the public

Ban the use of all fireworks in order to reduce air and noise pollution: Ban the use of all fireworks in order to reduce air and noise pollution.

While some fireworks are marketed as silent, these still make some noise. If you would like the Government to reduce the decibel limit to a specific level, you could start a new petition requesting this.
