What the petition asks
The government should to commit to a review of the handling of Covid-19 this parliamentary year. The review should look into what was known, discussed and advised about Covid-19, between the scientist, government & parliament. It should review the decisions made and provide advice for future waves.
The handling of Covid-19 (Cov-SARS 2) needs to be reviewed ASAP, to learn from the successes & failures so far & to plan future action in a more well informed & strategic manner. A review could help to avoid mistakes of the past and to develop more effective strategies. A review after Covid is over is too late, we need it now.
It should help us to protect those in nursing homes more effectively in future waves. It should consider best action for care homes, the NHS, the public & the government.
