End school term/move to remote learning on 10/12/20 for pre-Xmas self isolation

What the petition asks
To close schools (except for keyworker/vulnerable children) or switch to remote learning on 10/12/20 to allow pupils & school staff to self isolate before Christmas so they can safely meet family they’ve not been able to see due to restrictions/vulnerabilities. Will reduce covid19 transmission.
Not only will closing schools or moving to remote learning on 10/12 give pupils & school staff time to self isolate before Christmas to allow them to meet up with family safely, it could also help reduce U.K. covid19 transmission.
The data is increasingly showing significant numbers of cases in secondary schools & also in primary schools. Closing schools or switching to remote learning on 10/12/20 would provide a 3 week school “firebreak” which appears to have been effective in NI and Wales.
