Replace Lord John Kilclooney as Member of the House of Lords with a camel
Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
Instead of Lord John Kilclooney voting on legislation and making public comments as a Member of the House of Lords, this position should be stripped from him and given to a literal camel instead.
Lord John Kilclooney's repeated sexist and racist remarks, most recently in relation to the Vice President-Elect of the United States, is an insult to the dignity of the United Kingdom. His assertation he did not even know her name indicates he is not competent to hold the office, and a literal camel would make equally-well-informed decisions and fewer embarrassing public statements.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't publish petitions about honours and appointments. That includes asking for people to lose their job or their title.
