Properly protect our Heritage (Historic building and the like)

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

We want a future that remembers and protects our British history, Traditions, Historical buildings and Artefacts. We want awareness about historic places and to conserve them.
Over the years countless of buildings have been destroyed because of lack of care and interest by the local council and the Government.
Let’s make a change and protect our future historic background.
We want you to make sure that what we have mentioned above will be protected from vandalism and arsonists.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call for a specific action by the Government or House of Commons.

We understand that you are concerned about lack of upkeep of historic building and other artifacts, but it's not clear what you want the Government to do about this.

We have published the following petitions, some of which you might like to sign:

Require referendums on the removal of historically significant statues: Require referendums on the removal of historically significant statues

Protect all monuments and statues from being taken down: Protect all monuments and statues from being taken down

Make it a specific offence to desecrate national flags, symbols and monuments: Make it a specific offence to desecrate national flags, symbols and monuments

Require developers relocate not demolish buildings of historical interest: Require developers relocate not demolish buildings of historical interest

If you want the Government to take an action no covered by the above you could start a new petition requesting this, but it would need to be clear what action you want the Government to take.
