Encourage increased disabled parking provision by local councils

What the petition asks
Since the correct introduction of more parking spaces to support hidden disabilities such as anxiety and depression, I want the Government to encourage councils to increase the amount of parking spaces pro rata.
As of August 31st 2019, a new invisible disability section was added to the blue badge application. Within the first 3 months 12229 new badges were issued, around 130 a day.
Yorkshire is the worst of the counties having only 1 space per 129 blue badge holders, then East Midlands having 1 space per 122 badge holders, East of England having 1 space per 93 badge holders, West Midlands having 1 space per 91 blue badge holders, the North West having 1 space per 63 blue badge holders.
