What the petition asks
For fair and equal acceptance into further education the UK needs to come together as a whole and all agree on wether the GCSE’s or equivalent go ahead or not, and to take in to consideration how stressful and how much of an affect the GCSE’s 2021 are having on teens mental health.
Because I’m a y11 and I know that no matter how much I try to revise within this time and the extra 3 weeks I can’t fit six more months of revision on top of the current content in learning, even with content cuts its un realistic to expect us to get grades that will compare to the other countries coursework, in class assessments and predictions. It’s also negatively impacting our mental health and consumes our whole lives when we shouldn’t be put under such pressure at a young age.
