Give GCSE Students the Option to Take the Exam or Be Teacher Assessed

What the petition asks
The Government should allow GCSE students to choose whether their GCSEs are taken through exams or by having them assessed by teachers (2021).
Each student has different circumstances. For many, the cancellation of exams would be perfect as they have missed a lot of school however, many students would not benefit from this. A lot of students don’t show their full capability in their school work and may be quiet in class. Also multiple people would just generally feel better doing exams as they have been working hard at home for them. People should have the choice to choose what suits their circumstances.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
