Introduce an emergency Universal Basic Income during the COVID-19 outbreak

What the petition asks
We would like the Government to introduce an eUBI for the remaining duration of the outbreak, in order to ensure that everyone who needs support, gets support, and to ensure that that support is fairly and evenly applied across society.
We're all in this together.
We're all in this together.
We believe that the Government has a duty of care for the people of this country.
Given that we are clearly in an emergency situation, we believe the Government has a duty to implement an intervention most likely to bring aid to ALL of those who need it. No one should be left behind and there should be no holes in the safety net.
Anything less is clearly massively unfair, especially given some are actively profiting from the emergency while others, such as the self-employed, suffer.
