Petition · past parliament

Help those who can't wear face coverings by raising awareness.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

For people who can wear face coverings, they can't understand how difficult it is for those who can't wear one. Simple changes to the message would go a long, long way. This could be as simple as requiring signs asking people to wear face coverings to say "unless exempt" underneath the instruction.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Government guidance makes clear that there are exemptions to facemask requirements, and has provided materials to enable people to make exemptions clear. You can find out more at:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
