Make Private University Renters/University Halls partially reimburse rent

What the petition asks
Due to recent coronavirus announcements that students will have to leave accommodation now to spend Christmas at home, rent is still being paid by millions of students in the UK. We want the government to personally address the matter in and establish a way of reimbursing students for their big loss
Returning home is for the mental stability of millions of students and the government will appreciate this since it has been a debatable topic in recent months. The government have the ability to personally address this matter, and change the affects this pandemic is having on students both academically, physically and mentally. Many will argue that it’s what a student loan is for, however those who get the minimum are paying out of their own pockets and parliament can create rules around this
