Seek to extend Mortgage Payment Holidays up to 9 months due to second lockdown

What the petition asks
The Government should seek to give people the option of extending an existing mortgage holiday from six to nine months due to the second lockdown which has stopped a lot of people from working again, with people laid off or losing their jobs.
Agreeing arrangements with lenders for an extension to mortgage payment holidays would help people who have been forced to stop working due to the second lockdown, people who are self-employed who aren’t eligible for the support scheme, and people who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19.
