What the petition asks
The Government needs to lobby against the transport secretary to stop the construction of a two mile tunnel near the historical site stone henge.
This tunnel near the A303 could destroy the foundations of this site which went against planning officials warnings about the damage that could be caused due to construction. The Department for Transport stated that the Secretary of State is satisfied that, on balance, the need case for the development together with the other benefits identified outweigh any harm." However, this harm will be to one of the most historical sites in the world visited by many every day. Please help to stop this destruction!
