Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Ban the use of fireworks in private homes and all places outside organised displays on Community celebration recognised days.
Foe example *New Year, Diwali, EidChinese new year
Have set Days and Reasonable start/finish times.
This way people can prepare for event.
Few societies allow this constant bombardment of what appears longer periods every year.
Anxiety and distress to both domestic pets and wildlife is unacceptable in a civilised society.
Fireworks are dangerous and the emergency services are fully stretched to provide care.
Legislation allows use of fireworks everyday. It’s impossible to take precautions.
Enforcement on sales and use is not feasible and if organised displays were the only displays allowed would not be needed.
