Amend the Equality Act 2010 to include protections for Gender Identity!

What the petition asks
Amend and revise the Equality Act 2010 to protect people who do not identify as man or woman in order to directly protect them from workplace, civil and institutional discrimination.
Non-binary people are still owed their human rights. Because of their vulnerability and being different from the confirming society they are more likely to face discrimination, prejudice and therefore the quality of their lives are at stake. L.G. Berry reported that non binary teenagers are at higher risk of suicide because of their gender. It is in the governments power to deter discrimination they face and we expect and demand they utilise this power for the morally correct reasons.
