What the petition asks
Restart funding for the LGBT Anti-Bullying Programm for schools, which you quietly axed back in March.
LBGT people are at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health. Experience depression, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm.
The LGBT community is at greater risk of experiencing hate crime compared to heterosexual people, with certain LGBT groups found to be at particular risk, including gay men, young people and those identifying as LGBT from BAME groups.
This is why it's vital to restart funding for the Anti-Bullying program.
