Work with other Governments on banning trophy hunting

Closed 119 signatures

What the petition asks

Endangered species and other wild animals are hunted mercilessly worldwide for ‘human entertainment’. A Global Ban on trophy hunting would be a commitment to; discourage the cruel culture of hunting, the exploitation of wild animals and help protect the wild animals that exist today.
Sir David Attenborough revealed-currently, wild animals account for only 4% of the world’s Biomass! The decimation and exploitation of the natural world continues. Merciless trophy hunting involves the brutal killing of wild and endangered species of animals for fun! Queen Mary Uni London (2017) ’Trophy hunting and other activities involving the targeting of high-quality male animals (5% only),can cause the extinction of certain species, when faced with changing environmental conditions. The UK Government should work with other Governments around the world to ban this now.
