Covid-secure certification to allow businesses to open during lockdowns

What the petition asks
The Government should create a system to allow all shops, particularly small independent businesses, to apply for a covid-secure certificate that allows them to stay open during the current and any future lockdowns. Local authorities could conduct spot checks to ensure businesses are opening safely.
Independent business owners keep our businesses covid secure because we care about keeping our customers, ourselves and our families, safe. We should be allowed to open if we offer a secure, clean environment.
