Stop the ban of christmas decorations in homes

What the petition asks
I would like the government to allow us to have Christmas decorations in care homes as they are planning to stop it
We would like the government to allow this as residents in care home need to look forward to Christmas, it is stressful enough they cannot see their families, go out it to the community without taking christmas decorations and trees away from them it's the only thing they have to look forward to. What ever happened to freedom of choice it is the only thing they have to look forward to in 2020 as it as been a challenging year. Please don't take this away from them.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The Government has not issue guidance banning the use of Christmas decorations in care homes. It is up to operators of individual care homes, not the Government or House of Commons, to decide on what policies to implement above and beyond the Government's rule and regulations during the festive season
