What the petition asks
The government is considering cutting the Foreign Aid budget below the 0.7% minimum set out in law. We want this stopped.
Government foreign aid helps those in need, in a way that is often more efficient than non-governmental charities. Even if giving to those less fortunate was not an ethical necessity, a more stable world leads to better conditions for everyone.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
