Hold a referendum on the mandatory Foreign Aid target

What the petition asks
The Chancellor has cut the mandatory Foreign Aid target from 0.7% GDP to 0.5% GDP.
This will mean a change in the law to bring this about.
At some point in the future, the plan is to increase the target back to 0.7% GDP.
We believe that as this is OUR money, the Government should ask the public.

We call upon the Government to hold a referendum before any decision is taken to increase the Foreign Aid target back to 0.7% GDP.
The questions to be between raising it back to the original level or to abolish the mandatory target altogether.
