What the petition asks
As a NHS worker who has been working the whole pandemic. I know we deserve to not pay extra in taxes as we haven’t claimed any sort of claim/furlough during this pandemic.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a petition calling for specified tax breaks or exemptions for key workers including NHS staff, if that is something you'd like to happen.

Increase income tax for those above the basic rate to fund increased NHS pay
Exempt NHS staff from paying income tax
Give all key workers a £10,000 tax break (in addition to the existing allowance)
Suspend PAYE Tax for all frontline Key workers for 6 months
