Require all retailers to close on Boxing Day

What the petition asks

The Government should require all retailers to close on Boxing Day, especially for this year. There is no need for them to be open especially this year. Let people be with their families, it’s so important.

More so than ever this year I think it’s so important that retail workers get to be with their families as opposed to work colleagues. It’s been a tough challenging year for all, with some not seeing their families. Retail workers have done more than enough to remain open during the pandemic to feed the nation. Give something back to them and require all shops to close on Boxing Day to allow them to spend quality time with their loved ones and let them enjoy their Christmas.
