Allow restaurants to serve single household parties under Tier 3 restrictions

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Vote for an amendment to the new restrictions on tiers so that restaurants can offer single household dining provisions under tier 3 regulations
Hospitality has been decimated by government restrictions, far beyond what leisure & retail sectors have.
How can the restrictions be justified not to allow single household dining when the majority of other sectors in the UK can trade accordingly

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for a simlar action: Change Tier 3 rules to allow pubs and restaurants to stay open

Under Tier 3 rules households cannot mix indoors, so we think the request made by the above petition would achieve the same outcome as your petition.
