What the petition asks

To allow pubs to open in tier 2

If it’s ok to sit in a restaurant with friends why can’t it be ok to sit in pub .. we as publicans have gone out our way to make sure our pubs are COVID SAFE ... there’s no proof in the rising of cases of the virus being directed at being in a pub

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Pubs in Tier 2 areas are allowed to open, provided they only serve alcohol with a substantial meal.
