Make it illegal and an enforceable act, if someone parks on your owned driveway

What the petition asks
At the moment if someone parks on your property without permission, there is nothing you can do. The police, council and you are powerless. The police say it is a civil matter. The council won’t remove the vehicle unless it has been abandoned for a month. If you remove, you could get in trouble.
Parking on a privately owned drive is a mean thing to do and can cause neighbourhood disputes. If someone parks on your privately owned drive, the police class it as trespassing and a civil matter and won’t help you. Your local council won’t remove the vehicle unless it has been classed as abandoned for one month. You can’t remove the vehicle yourself as you could be liable to court action if the vehicle gets damaged whilst being removed. Make it illegal and enforceable. Give homeowners rights.
