DO NOT make the COVID-19 vaccine mandatory.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

The U.K. government should not make the COVID-19 vaccine mandatory. It should 100% be a choice whether people take it or not.
The government should not make the vaccine mandatory because it is against our rights. No other vaccine has been made mandatory before so why should this one all of a sudden?

Those who decide to take the vaccine and continue to follow the ‘safety procedures’ should be deemed safe and ‘immune to the virus’. Therefore those who do not want to be vaccinated would only be putting themselves at risk.

I believe it will prevent a lot of mayhem for the government if the vaccine is taken by choice.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

It is already against the law for people to be required to undergo medical treatment, including vaccinations. The Coronavirus Act 2020 has not changed this.
