What the petition asks

Serving within HM Armed Forces should grant immediate citizenship upon completion of 4 years service. It is a disgrace that Commonwealth soldiers and veterans are denied the right to stay.

I am a veteran, i would not have fought for or supported the Government if i had known that the many Fijian brothers that i served with would be sent home after their service. It is the absolute least that this government can do to show that it genuinely supports its Armed Forces and respects the Commonwealth and its sons and daughters who come here to serve.

Why it was rejected
