What the petition asks
With the constant financial strain on families in the United Kingdom due to the constant rise in the cost of living.
The government, as a general rule of thumb, gets one days salary from every working man and woman in this country.
The government, as a general rule of thumb, gets one days salary from every working man and woman in this country.
The government must allow any overtime payments to be free from income tax, enabling workers to earn a real living wage. Any hours worked over their contracted hours come at the sacrifice of family time so it is only ethically and morally right that the family benefits from said overtime.
So please, enable a better life for all. Allow workers to enjoy the benefits of their toils. Make all overtime free from any deduction.
