What the petition asks
Create more funding, places for mental health patients, to get faster help, better facilities and to stop the stretch of the use of other services like the police and ambulances
I feel, myself and been in this situation that when a mental health patients seeks out for help, we get sent away and asked to wait for the crisis team to be intouch, this could take up to a week or longer for them to reach out for us, this this the patient time to act, to harm, to overthink, to possible end there life, i feel we get passed around different areas and we have to seek help more than once to be taken seriously, I’ve seen people taken multiple times to hospital but never get any help or advice after
