Provide free sanitary items for all females in the United Kingdom.

What the petition asks
Sanitary items for menstruation should be free for all women, trans-men, and non-binary people in the UK. People who regularly get periods spend approximately £50 per annum, which could fund other daily necessities such as food, electricity, transport, and rent.
Many people in the United Kingdom are unfortunately currently living in poverty, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as people are losing their jobs or are on limited hours. If the government were to provide sanitary items for everyone in the UK, it would help out so many families and individuals who are struggling financially.
