Introduce a "France style" repair and longevity label on electronic products.

What the petition asks
Introduce a reparability and longevity score/index on smartphone, laptops and tablets, ect. Similar to what France will introduce in January 2021.The index should include, ease of disassemble and expected lifespan. This is to inform consumers and create competition to create longer lasting product.
A report by Environmental Audit Committee in November 2020, stated "in the UK we each create a huge amount of electronic waste—the second highest in the world"

This will increase the circularity of the UK economy, inline with EU push for circularity
The majority of CO2 come from the manufacture stage and so reducing the demand for virgin material will help reduce CO2 output inline with net zero2050
