What the petition asks

Just as they rang out all over the United Kingdom on VE day to announce the end of war, so to they should also be rung to mark the biggest occasion in our history. Our escape of European dictatorship and bureaucracy!
The government needs to mark this special occasion to celebrate the UK's final departure of the European Union as we once again mark our place in the world as a free and sovereign nation!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a matter for churches.
