What the petition asks
Carers give up good paid work to care for loved ones and are expected to live on less than £70 a week
As a disabled person I know how hard carers work, and they do it out of love.
Government need to realise the sacrifice carers give.
Caring is hard work and carers need to be seen and recognised.

Raise Carers Allowance in line with national wage, because without Stay at home Carers many disabled or elderly people would be in nursing homes costing the Government alot more money than they currently.
My message to Governnent is please appreciate what home carers do.
Without them you would be paying far more for nursing home care.
Without home carers many people would not be able to live independent lives.
Please raise Carer allowance and make it independent from any other incomes in house.
