Universities face-to-face teaching in 2021 or money back

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Give students their tuition fee back, as we are already paying thousands a year on accommodation that we really do not need to be in. OR at-least give us the next academic year at a significant discount (50-80%)
I want government to consider this petition because in the world as we know it to be able to get a university degree you need to have wealth behind you. Which is extremely unfair, as the life we are brought into is not chosen.
I am a 20 year old student with a single parent, my mother works hard enough. But now she is forced to word harder so that I can have an eduction. £9,250 tuition fee for zoom calls all year? This does not sound worth it for anyone.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for a similar action: Lower university tuition fees for students until online teaching ends

Deciding when to resume face-to-face teaching is, provided this is consistent with current Covid-19 regulations, a decision for individual universities, not the Government or House of Commons.
