Dance schools to be categorised as education and not gyms
Rejected

What the petition asks
Dance schools being categorised as gyms during the COVID pandemic is having a detrimental impact on both businesses and students. Dance schools do not use equipment used in gyms and have the ability to follow strict COVID guidelines, in line with education sectors.
Dance schools provide its students with the opportunity to express themselves and learn new skills, as does schools. Children are taught physical education within school settings and dance schools should be placed under the education category on this basis. Closing dance schools alongside gyms, majorly impacts the metal health and physical well-being of its students, who train hard to gain their physical abilities in preparation for dance exam work and world wide competitions.
