removal of bus and cycle lanes

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Since the implementation of the bus and cycle lanes throughout Greenwich traffic has increased significantly causing higher pollution levels which in turn is detrimental to local residents health .prior to the scheme traffic levels were already high around the woolwich ferry and Charlton areas.
As representatives of the people it is your duty to ensure their safety and well being which this scheme does not .

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about local bus and cycle lanes are a matter for individual traffic authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
