What the petition asks

Make it law that you get paid for your rest breaks during your hours of service, most people are at a work place were we don't get paid for breaks yet a break time is mandatory, so 1 hour of our day is un paid, and in some cases a second break is mandatory, this could be 2 hours, a day, wasted time.

I am a lorry driver, I have to take a 45 minute break after 4 1/2 hours driving, then after another 4 1/2 hours I have to take another 45 minute break, my employer and most other employees, will take this as 1 hour breaks, so I'm stuck in a lorry for 2 hours un paid, I could be in a layby or remote area, this time is not mine, and should be paid for, its not like this time is able to be used for personal activities due to unable to leave truck or find anything entertaining nearby.
