Change the working hours for one month during the winter to reduce SAD
Rejected

What the petition asks
To improve the mental and business health the government should change the working hours for one month during the winter, implementing intensive working between 8am-15pm with 15min break for lunch, similar of what countries like Spain, Portugal, France etc do during the summer
Changing the working hours during the winter will allow families to enjoy the daylight, shopping, outdoor activities, taking care of personal issues etc. That will reduce what NHS call as SAD (Seasonal affective disorder) which is a type of depression that comes and goes in a seasonal pattern.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Working hours are a matter for employers.
