What the petition asks

Give all key workers including childcare practitioners extra pay for the risks they are taking daily to ensure frontline workers for the NHS can continue to work. Childcare practitioners are in contact with hundreds of people on a daily basis and are at greater risk of catching the virus!

Childcare practitioners are putting their own lives at risk while trying their hardest to support and safeguard very young children during these uncertain times. A lot of childcare practitioners are travelling to and from work using public transport causing additional distress. Private sector practitioners have been on the frontline since the very beginning of the pandemic and deserve to be shown the respect and appreciation that they have shown for others during these hard times.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
