Nursing staff who are working Christmas Day
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
To allow them 1 other day to celebrate Christmas with loved ones
We have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic and are unable to celebrate like the rest of Tier 3
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about leave arrangements for NHS staff, including nurses, is a matter for individual NHS emloyers, not the Government or House of Commons.
We have published the following petition about relaxing arrangements for household mixing over Christmas, to accommodate workers who will be working on Christmas Day:
Allow Christmas celebrations on either the 24th, 25th or 26th December: Allow Christmas celebrations on either the 24th, 25th or 26th December
