What the petition asks
With Brexit, it is important to ensure that all UK Citizens are eligible for "home fee status" (irrespective of where they live), as is the practice of most developed countries.
A lot of UK Citizens live abroad for multiple reasons but still contribute to the UK economy. In Higher education, UK Citizens living abroad are treated differently and are asked to pay international fees.
This is against the accepted practice in most developed countries in the world (eg: USA, Australia, Singapore etc), who allow their citizens to pay “home fee status", irrespective of where they live.
With Brexit, it is important all UK Citizens are treated equally in Higher Education.
